Britney Spears is set to launch a new perfume together with her sixth studio album ‘Circus’ on 2nd December – her 27th birthday.
Following the league of other high-profile stars such as Victoria and David Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, the singer shall launch her own ‘Hidden Fantasy’, reports China Daily. A source, who has worked with Britney on her beauty ventures, at the ‘Elizabeth Arden’ perfume company revealed that the singer’s perfume would smell of cherry and vanilla. “The bottle of Hidden Fantasy is the same as the previous two Fantasy perfumes - the only difference is the colour red on it,” the source added. According to experts, Britney is said to have earned a whopping 13 million pounds with perfumes owing to her public and private meltdown that increased the popularity of the fragrances.
The pop singer, has in the past lent her name to perfumes entitled ‘Curious’, ‘Fantasy’, ‘In Control’, ‘Midnight Fantasy’, ‘Curious Heart’ and ‘Believe’. (ANI)
Madge drops Britney from ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour over biblical bust-up
Queen of pop Madonna has dumped pop princess Britney Spears from a forthcoming live spot on her Sticky & Sweet tour over religious matters. Madge, 50, was so displeased with Spears for dropping the Kabbalah religion that she immediately terminated the latter’s involvement with the tour. “Madonna is dismayed that Britney has just dropped Kabbalah,” News of the World quoted a source as saying. “She’s always believed it is a way of life, not just something to pick up and get rid of on a whim.
“Madonna doesn’t feel she can work with Britney any more because they’re just not aligned on a spiritual level,” the source added.
Spears was due to join Madonna on stage for a live duet as part of the US leg of her tour. (ANI)
